Core Fitness with Nordik Walking

This class begins with a thorough warm up followed by training using hand weights, resistance bands, gliders and small balls to promote functional movement. Class will be located on RSC's upper patio (outdoors). The movements will increase your stability and flexibility and range of motion. Your posture and tone and flexibility will improve as we progress through the program. Please wear comfortable clothing and supportive non-slip shoes. Also bring a water bottle and a smile!! As the weather gets colder, the program will include Nordik walking outdoors.

Our High Intensity Interval Training is an excellent blent of strength and cardiovascular strategies, alternated with short perio of intense anaerobic exercise and recovery periods. Jump in and try to complete a workout of 45-minutes followed by a deserved 15-minute cool down and stretch.
