Calling all indoor board game enthusiasts! Come and join us for a fun afternoon of games; meet new people and have some laughs. No experience necessary. We will play a variety of board games each week to challenge your brain -  rules will be sent out in advance and reviewed on site.

Join in for weekly Billiard’s playing! This group includes many current Men’s League Golf  players, and also welcomes others to join in. There are plans to have coffee/tea/snacks  available - this will be discussed at the first session. While cues are available, you are welcome  to bring your own.

Join the Book Club and find new worlds to explore, discuss the attributes of a favourite author or  pan the latest bestseller. Start your day with a lively discussion in a small group of avid  readers. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month; reading lists, and plans for  coffee/tea – these will be discussed at the first session.

Knitting and Needlepoint Club

Start Date: Wednesday, October 1, 10 am - noon 

A weekly knitting/handwork circle from beginners to the most skilled knitters where you can: 

1. work at your own pace 

2. learn or pass on a new technique 

3. receive or give help with difficult patterns 

4. exchange patterns and ideas 

5. enjoy the social aspects of knitting together (and maybe a laugh or two) At present the group expertise is in knitting, but welcome all. Bring your handwork (crochet,  embroidery, etc) and enjoy the company.

Join in for weekly bridge playing! Players should have a basic understanding of the rules for contract bridge and some playing experience.  Additional instruction can be provided before the start of a session.

Art Club

Start Date: Thursdays 1-4pm, starting on January 8 

Maximum: 15 participants

Gather weekly and work in community on your own self-directed art projects through dedicated time to develop your skill and creativity! Expertise and help is freely shared, when asked for, and at times a few people could work on the same project together. Acrylic paint, watercolour, pen and ink, sketching with a pencil, and pretty much any other art form is fine. Please no oil paints as some are sensitive to the smell. You would be responsible to bring your own art supplies, including a plastic tablecloth to protect the tables.  We can discuss possible weekly themes to spark your creativity!
