Aquafit

Come out and enjoy some great exercise in our heated, salt water pool.   Exercising in water can be very therapeutic, it is a low impact exercise so easier on your joints, yet you can build muscle strength and endurance.  You can increase flexibility and you will burn calories.   The classes focus on aerobic endurance, resistance training, and creating an enjoyable atmosphere with music. 

Joy Halverson (Monday/Wednesday/Friday)

I am currently working as a physiotherapist assistant with LifeMark Health Corp. (ProPhysio) and have been with this company for over 4 years.   I teach exercise classes to seniors of all abilities in different retirement homes and provide one-on-one physio exercises to residents.   Recently I retired from teaching indoor cycling at GoodLife Fitness after over 10 years and from teaching aqua fitness at Movati Fitness Club.  My certifications are with CANFITPRO as a fitness instructor specialist and as a personal trainer specialist.  As well, I am a certified aqua fitness instructor, with CALA (Canadian Aquafitness Leaders Alliance Inc.) 

Rebecca Gray (Tuesday/Thursday)

I have been a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor for over 15 years.  I share my passion for fitness through my sense of humour and vast fitness knowledge.  The classes are full of energy from the music to the moves.
