Fees:  $50.00 + tax per activity

Social memberships are available $100.00 + tax with fees going into the AVRA reserve fund.  If you are participating in more than one activity, purchase the social membership and contribute to the Club.

 

Billiards

Join in for weekly Billiards playing! There are plans to have coffee/tea/snacks available - this will be discussed at the first session. While cues are available, you are welcome to bring your own. 

Mens - Wednesdays @ 10:30am-12:30pm

Ladies - Thursdays @ 1pm-3pm

Book Club

Join the book club and find new worlds to explore, discuss the attributes of a favourite author or pan the latest bestseller. Start your day with a lively discussion in a small group of avid readers. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, from 10am to noon; reading lists, and plans for coffee/tea will be discussed at the first session.

Euchre (afternoon)

Take a break in your day and join in for weekly euchre games, including some competitive play.  Come out and improve your play, meet new friends and have some laughs. Supplies and other details will be shared prior to the first session. There are plans to have coffee/tea available - this will be discussed at the first session.  The afternoon euchre games will be played on Wednesdays, from 2:30-4:30pm.

Relax with an evening of euchre, and join in for weekly euchre games, including some competitive play.  Come out and improve your play, meet new friends and have some laughs. Access to ALE for the purchase of beverages and/or snacks will be available during and after the EVENING games.  The evening euchre games will be played on Thursdays, from 6:30-8:30pm.

Knitting and Needlepoint Club

A weekly knitting/handwork/needlepoint circle from beginners to the most skilled knitters where you can work at your own pace, learn or pass on a new technique, receive or give help with difficult patterns, exchange patterns and ideas, and enjoy the social aspect of knitting together.  At present the group expertise is in knitting, but we welcome all.  Bring your handiwork (crochet, embroidery, etc) and enjoy the company.  This group meets on Wednesdays, from 10am to noon.

Social Bridge

Join in for weekly bridge playing! Players should have a good understanding of the rules for bridge and have playing experience. The club will meet on Tuesdays, from 1:00-4:00pm.
